First Horse Show

This spring has been a whirlwind of craziness and I realized that I have not been keeping up with Madeline's pictures.  In the beginning of April, Madeline competed in her first horse show.  It was a fun academy show that her teacher held and her first experience in a show.  She participated in 4 events.  She got two second place ribbons, a third place, and an honorable mention.  Impressively, one of the 2nd place ribbons came in a contest where she had to ride around while balancing an egg on a spoon.  Very difficult I think and the only way they got her to drop her egg was by asking her to trot.
