13 months old and a visit from Oma and Opa!

Last week Madeline turned 13 months old. Its getting harder and harder to take her picture in that chair because she is always on the move. I swear this kid never stops moving all day except for the occasional nap. She even eats on the move...carrying her little snack cup around the house.

Oma and Opa stopped by for a quick overnight visit last Sunday and this Friday. They stopped on their way to and from Memphis. We will see them again next week when we head to Chicago. Last week they took Scooter and Madeline for a walk while we did some yard clean-up.

We had spaghetti with meat sauce this week for dinner. That is one of Madeline's favorite meals and this picture shows what she looks like after she's finished her plate.

Some new things she started doing today include climbing up on the footstool of our IKEA chair to look out the window. She also gets down very safely by going feet first. She also started walking around clicking her tongue today. She's always very proud of her new accomplishments (and so are we)!

Cute pics! What a difference 10 mos. makes!
I thought the tongue click comment was funny... I'm expecting that you'll have a lot of speech pathy updates :)

Happy belated birthday, Madeline! She is so cute -- what a big girl, wandering around with her snack cup and eating spaghetti with meat sauce. (Jack loves that meal, too .. and so do I! :)) Looking forward to reading more about Madeline's accomplishments!
