Today we had Madeline's party at her Grandma and Grandpa's house in Monticello. It was just a gathering of family and her godfather, Andy. We enjoyed some great food...and plenty of it. Madeline really liked her cupcake (but not the Italian beef, sorry daddy)! She received some awesome presents, including a wagon, a splash table and some Nikes. She got tons of clothes and will continue to be the best dressed baby I know!
It was an exciting day and I think while we were singing "Happy Birthday" to her she figured out that all this fuss was for her. She just kept looking at me and grinning! She was even in a great mood once we got home and it was just our little family. Oh, and she took 5 steps on her own tonight, which is her new record!
