Horses, horses, and More horses!

This past weekend we were luck to visit a local horse rescue facility to see the 60 horses that are currently living there awaiting adoption. Most of them have been rescued and rehabilitated from neglectful and abusive homes.  We all love horses so we thought it would be a great way to see some up close and to support their work with a donation.  Madeline rode a horse, had her face painted, and took a hay rack ride.  It was great fun!

Madeline also started riding at a new barn this weekend with the same instructor, Jamie.  She rode her first pattern which means she had to take her horse and manuever it where her teacher said.  By the last time through she had it down!
