This weekend we enjoyed our annual Mother's Day trip to downtown Chicago. We stayed at the Palmer House Hilton Saturday night and enjoyed Millenium Park, dinner out, and swimming. We woke up early Sunday morning to participate in the Y-Me Race (breast cancer) race. Madeline was feeling a bit under the weather and we had many moments of whining and "wilting" as we call it, but it was still fun to spend time with just us 3 girls. Next year will mark the 15th year my mom and I have participated (rain or shine)! We hope to continue with the trend of beautiful weather we have had the last several years.
