Yesterday we headed to the farmer's market to check out the late summer/early fall produce. When we got there we found the UI women's soccer team. They were kicking balls around with the kids, handing out posters, and free tickets. Madeline had a great time. She picked up the ball an awful lot so we joked that she had some goalie tendencies from her 2 goalie cousins (Michael and Blake). She did try and dribble some too. That is what she's doing in the video at the end of this post. The players and the coach did give us a bit of grief about the Northwestern apparel;-)
She also turned 19 months old, and we did not get a picture in the chair until this morning. But doesn't she look cute in her new fall dress. We had Grandma and Grandpa over at our house for lunch as a change. Daddy made some yummy ribs and we had a good time. Madeline thought Grandpa was hilarious and she just laughed and laughed with him. They played together an awful lot too and I think that's why she is still napping right now.
19 months old...only 5 more months until 2 years????
