Bloomington trip

Today we decided to take a trip to Bloomington, IL. We visited Miller Park Zoo, which Madeline enjoyed much more than last summer (she was only 6 months old then). Then we let her run through the water at the splash park that is right outside the zoo. It was free and FUN!! She got tired and cold and hungry soon though so we headed to Avanti's for lunch. Madeline REALLY enjoyed Avanti's bread. She tried some pizza burger and the cheese from a gondola as well! After that we hit the Alamo II so we could find Madeline an ISU shirt. Both she and Daddy got new shirts, but when we got home she would not cooperate with a photo shoot. Finally we walked around the ISU campus for a bit, where Madeline fell asleep in her stroller. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun. I think we will all sleep well tonight!
