The family traveled to Elk Grove to enjoy Thanksgiving with the extended family. Madeline tried some turkey, but she wasn't a fan of the texture and it was close to nap time. She still prefers her turkey pureed! She had a great time entertaining her great aunt and uncle, Oma and Opa, Uncle Sean, and cousins. She learned a new trick...clapping.

Christmas shopping at Oak BrookThe weekend was filled with the usual, eating (lots), drinking (lots), watching football, and shopping. Madeline had a special treat and got to go swimming at the hotel pool. She is a little fish and seems to really enjoy the water. Overall it was a GREAT weekend and we look forward to it every year!

Awww, what adorable pictures! Jack, like Madeline, does not enjoy turkey. He's not big into meat lately! I hope that changes. Anyway, lucky Madeline, getting to go for a swim! :)
